In July, Sumitomo Pharma America (SMPA) celebrated its third anniversary, and we also took this occasion to refresh this website to better reflect who we are today and where we are headed.

I am incredibly proud of what our team at Sumitomo Pharma America does every day. Across our commercial business, our research and development organization, and our support functions, we are united by a One Team Approach and a shared purpose to improve the lives of patients.

It is also an exciting time for our company.

We continue to build momentum across our business, with a growing portfolio of products for patients in Oncology, Urology, Women's Health, Rare Disease and CNS. At the same time, we are advancing our late-stage pipeline, including two assets being investigated for hematologic cancers.

We are also investing in the future. Through our work in regenerative medicine and the potential of induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cell technology, we are pursuing new approaches that could fundamentally change how certain diseases are treated.

What excites me most is the opportunity to reach more patients, tackle some of healthcare's toughest challenges, welcoming talented people to our organization, and continue building on the strong foundation our team created when we started SMPA three years ago.
